Karah has degrees from the University of Georgia in Philosophy, Classical Culture, and Political Science. She earned her M.Ed. in Learning, Design, and Technology from the College of Education in 2015. Karah is currently pursuing a PhD in the Learning, Design, and Technology program at UGA. Her research is focused on faculty development, online teaching and learning, digital identity, and engagement.
Karah's role at the Office of Online Learning at UGA includes faculty development through workshops and various cohort-based programs. She has a passion for instructional design and online learning environments. She strives to ensure quality in the online student experience as she works with faculty to re-imagine their courses for online delivery.
