I bring real-world nonprofit organizational management to the table, and provide my students a learning opportunity that’s beyond textbooks.
Instructor
My goal each and everyday is to inspire the students in my classroom to become just as passionate about nonprofit organizational management as I am.
I am the executive director of Nuci’s Space, a local nonprofit that allows musicians to meet with doctors about physical or mental health issues. Throughout my time with Nuci’s space, I have helped the space really become a part of the Athens community, but I’m not alone. I have a lot of help and assistance from a passionate team of people, and it’s this passion that I want to pass onto my students.
I have been fortunate enough to really integrate myself into the University of Georgia community, first by receiving my bachelor’s degree in psychology and then later receiving my MBA and a graduate certificate in nonprofit organizations, a skill that’s really helped me further Nuci’s Space.
Though I am from only one nonprofit organization, it’s important to me that I bring real examples of the work that I do to my classroom. How do we engage our students? How do we keep them interested in nonprofit organizational management? These are the questions I ask myself each day when I’m walking into my classroom and when I’m hard at work at Nuci’s Space.
