Faculty Workshops – Developing Your Online Course

In Fall 2016, the Office of Online Learning will lead four different workshops, each offered multiple times throughout August, September and October, for faculty members who want to create new online courses. “We’re providing multiple offerings and have designed the workshops so they don’t have to be taken in any specific order.” said James Castle, UGA Lead Instructional Designer “Fall can be a very busy time for faculty but the interest in developing new online courses is high and we want to make sure we’re supporting that interest.”

The topics for the workshops are ​”Designing & Teaching Your Online Course,” “Building Your Online Course,” “Introduction to Quality Matters” and “Engaging Students in Online Courses.”

Make sure to check out the different workshop dates on our website and note that the workshops do not have to be taken sequentially.  Registration will be available on our website, online.uga.edu/facultyworkshops.
