Professor and Director of the College of Pharmacy BS Program, Michael Bartlett, says, “the International Biomedical Regulatory Sciences program is the most comprehensive program of its kind in the country. No program covers the range of products (medical devices, animal health products, vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, stem cell therapies and pharmaceuticals) that our programs does. This is important because regulatory professionals often work for companies that have products in one or more of these categories and it is important to understand the differences in the statutes that apply to each product class. In addition, no program covers the regulatory agencies outside of the United States. “

This November, the Office of International Biomedical Regulatory Sciences and the FDA co-sponsor the Medical Device Regulations Conference which is held annually to provide educational and networking opportunities to help shape the future of medical device advancement from a regulatory science perspective.
