How to De-Stress For Exams!

It is exam time once again at UGA! Exams can be very stressful for students, but ExamTime has shared some great tips to beat the stress! Below are some of the best tips for online students, but the entire list can be found on the ExamTime website.

1. Take a walk! Many times, online students are spending a lot of time in one spot. A change of scenery can refresh the mind, and a short walk has been proven to improve memory! Going for a walk now will make you ready to study later.

2. Plan a study routine. It is likely that if you are an online student, you are very busy. It can be hard to work in the extra study time that exams require when you already have very little time in the day. Creating a plan ahead of time can guarantee that you cover all of the material you need before your exam.

3. Try to get enough sleep. This can also be hard for busy online students, but making sure you get enough sleep during exams ensures that your memory will be at its best!

4. Listen to classical music. Classical music might not be your favorite, but it has been proven to be best for your brain.

5. Break free from distractions. If you are taking your classes online, it is easy to stay attached to your computer. Taking some time away from your computer and sitting down with just your books or handwritten notes can be refreshing.
