What interests me most about my field is the power of incentives to affect human behavior at individual and societal scales.

Jeffrey D. Mullen

Associate Professor

I teach Water Resource Economics, Energy Economics, Quantitative Tools for Business Decisions, and Analytical and Computational Tools for Applied Economics.

What interests me most about my field is the power of incentives to affect human behavior at individual and societal scales. My teaching philosophy is to engage students directly, use contemporaneous examples, facilitate group work, and encourage questions. From my classes, I hope students gain an ability to answer their own questions with logic, theory, and data analysis.

My garden is full of hot peppers, which I use to make sauces, pickles, and jellies.
