I currently hold a joint appointment in the College of Engineering and the College of Public Health’s department of epidemiology and biostatistics.
Associate Professor
My areas of specialty are in dynamic modeling of physiology, pharmacology and disease progression, particularly in the areas of cardiovascular disease, renal disease, and diabetes.
I create computer models that predict how diseases such as diabetes will respond to drug therapies and teach engineering courses as well as public health courses in chronic disease epidemiology and clinical trial design.
