3 Ways to Cheer on the Dawgs

3 Ways to Cheer on the Dawgs

Football season is upon us which means tailgates, whipping up your favorite game day meal and shouting at the TV screen as the wide receiver runs down the field. This year, get ready to support your favorite dawgs like never before. No matter where you are, the dawg nation is apparent and everywhere. Here are some ways to support your fellow dawgs as they tackle the new season.

Sport your favorite Georgia gear

Wear your best red, black and white getups. Feel free to add G stickers, body paint, your favorite player’s jersey and go all out. Dress it up or down, whatever makes you feel comfortable, as long as you never wear orange and blue!

Watch the game together

Even if you cannot be inside the gates of Sanford Stadium, there are plenty of ways to watch every game. Gather friends and fellow bulldawgs to watch the game together. Alumni Association has game watching parties all across the U.S. Find a game day watching party near you and connect with others as you’re anxiously watching the game.

Additionally, you can watch the game live online and never miss a second of Georgia foobtall. No matter how you watch, be united with the dawg nation and never bark alone.

Call the dawgs

If you see a fellow bulldawg sporting their Georgia gear or we’ve scored a touchdown, be sure to call the dawgs! Calling the Dawgs is one of the ultimate traditions that unifies Bulldogs all over. This chant is yelled at football games. Here’s how you do it:

Yell “Go” and holding the “o,” then yell “Dawgs” and chant “Sic ‘em! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof!” Throw your arm up in a fist and wave it around as you call the Dawgs!
