April is National Financial Literacy Month
In April each year, National Financial Literacy Month is celebrated in the U.S. to draw attention to financial literacy and its importance in the lives of Americans.
As a graduate student, maintaining a healthy financial life can be difficult and stressful. In an effort to promote financial wellness and reduce financial stress, the Graduate Financial Education Program has created the following April calendar with financial tips relevant to graduate students. Each day provides a task you can complete to improve your financial literacy and well-being. The calendar is separated by week in themes ranging from advice on maintaining a good credit score to keeping up with student loan payments. The calendar can be viewed on the graduate school website.
If you have questions about the implementation of any of these tips, you may contact Kristin Short at gradfineduc@uga.edu.
