The Office of Online Learning is committed to student success and offers numerous supports distinguished for academic excellence. UGA students now earn their degrees in record time. UGA’s overall completion rate has increased and three out of four students graduate in four years plus one semester, moving up two percentages overall. The four-year completion rate is 68 percent, a total 19 percentage above the average graduation rate of other SEC institutions.

For UGA’s six-year completion rate, the percentage is 86 and moved up one percent from last year. It is also ten percent higher than UGA’s peer institutions. These record breaking completion rates demonstrates UGA’s commitment to academic success.

Students enrolled in online programs have access to student support services and numerous resources that are recognizable from other universities. UGA offers academic advising online that is tailored to provide the best experience. For graduate students, the Graduate School offers a free financial education program so students can learn to manage school and finances. The program includes seminars on student loan management, credit, budgeting and taxes.

The University of Georgia also offers several financial aid options, including the Get Educated Distance Learning scholarship. Tutoring is available to current students remotely through UGA’s Division of Academic Enhancement to ensure academic success. In addition to these many resources, there’s also a distance librarian who’s designated to helping you! Student veterans can take advantage of our many nationally-ranked resources available such as the Student Veterans Resource Center and Veteran Certification Services.
