Current students and UGA grads, remember to take advantage of the professional and free career services available to you as a member of the Bulldog nation! The UGA Career Center offers events like virtual career fairs and networking opportunities to help you build your professional network. Looking for career consulting?  We have professional career consultants available to provide you with the advice, assistance and tools you need to help you stay connected and find career opportunities. We offer many other career services that can be accessed remotely such as online career self-assessments, career webinars, interview preparation and an online resume creator.

To our new alumni, congratulations! Here are 5 important tips for taking full advantage of career services available to you.

1. As a UGA Alumni, you have access to career services for the rest of your life! Services include job postings, career counseling, webinars, resume and cover letter critiques, mock interviews and more! Check out the resources you have access to on the Career Center website.
2. If you are still looking for a job, continue to apply to positions in DAWGlink. It currently has over 2,400 open part-time, full-time & 
   internship positions. Also, consider joining the University of Georgia Alumni LinkedIn group to network your way into your next position!
3. If you already have lined up a job, an internship, or you got accepted to a graduate school, please fill out the UGA Career Outcomes survey. It takes less than 4 minutes, and enters you for a change to win an Apple Watch! The information is used on our “What can I do with a major in…” handouts, to counsel students about career choice and to learn about average starting salaries.
4. You can participate in UGA Virtual Networking Hour events with fellow alumni, as well as with students on campus. In the fall, we will offer several virtual opportunities to connect with Bulldogs across the nation. For a list of upcoming events, click here.
