IDD Faculty Member Named Public Service and Outreach Fellow
Theodore Kopcha, online M.Ed. Instructional Design and Technology (IDD) faculty, has been named a Public Service and Outreach Fellow for this semester. He says the fellowship “ is a way for me to learn more about what those people are doing, and offer my own insight and skills to support those efforts. It’s a great way for me to use my research in a way that people value, and in a way that puts me at the forefront of my field.” He is already working with the Archway Partnership helping to bring more technology into K-12 classrooms around Georgia.
This is a high honor for a university faculty to receive. When asked about the fellowship, Kopcha said “I feel that it is a privilege to receive this fellowship – with it, I’m able to use my expertise in a way that directly benefits others within Georgia. My particular interests involve assisting schools as they adopt and integrate new technologies. There are amazing efforts and people across the state who are doing wonderful things to improve learning.”
