The mentor program at the University of Georgia is designed to foster a culture of mentorship and support across all UGA programs. The initiative is designed to create meaningful connections in order to help Bulldogs succeed in the workplace and in life .
What is the UGA Mentor Program?
The program works to develop personal and professional networks for students, connecting them with alumni as well as staff and faculty members. It also provides a platform for students to explore professional goals and career interests with mentors who have experience in various areas.
Why should I participate in the UGA Mentor Program?
Mentor relationships are a way to network within the Bulldog community to facilitate progress e in life and career. The program narrows down the overwhelming networking process to help students and mentors create meaningful and relevant connections. The pool of mentors is 3,500+ that extends beyond campus across the country.
Who can participate in the UGA Mentor Program?

Mentees are UGA undergraduate, graduate and professional students.

Mentors are UGA staff, faculty, alumni and friends of the university (Board members).
Where do mentor meetings take place?
Meetings can also take place in person at public locations such as a coffee shop or via phone or video chat. The UGA Mentor Program allows students to schedule a 15-30 minute Quick Chat with mentors, who may be faculty, staff, or alumni. The flexibility of these chats allows students to connect with a mentor no matter their location.
How long is the commitment?
