Online Tutoring Available for Distance Learning Students
The University of Georgia’s Division of Academic Enhancement offers free online tutoring for all currently enrolled UGA students. This means that online students have access to personal tutors, no matter where they are studying! Online tutoring is available for Math and Statistics as well as writing assignments or projects (course research papers, major program applications, scholarship essays, etc).
Math tutors are available for MATH 1101, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics through a live chat room listed on the TutorTrac system used for tutor scheduling.
Professional writing tutors are qualified to review everything from short essays to dissertations. When booking an appointment, just look for a time listing the location as “online” if you’re unable to meet with a tutor in person. Writing assignments should be submitted to the tutor before the appointment along with a brief statement about what you’re requesting help with.
Visit my.uga.edu and click on the Academic Resource Center (ARC) logo to log into your TutorTrac account to enter the chat room or make a writing appointment.
