Prereqs: (MSIT 3000 or MSIT 3000E or MSIT 3000H)
Focuses on calculus, statistical inference, predictive modeling, and optimization. Special attention will be given to the foundations of these topics and also to the modeling and application of these tools within all the functional areas of business. 3 hours.
ACCT 5001E - Financial Reporting and Analysis
Prereqs: (ACCT 2101 or ACCT 2101H or ACCT 2101E) and (ACCT 2102 or ACCT 2102H or ACCT 2102E)
Accounting concepts, critical thinking skills, and techniques involved in the accounting process and the preparation of financial statements, with emphasis on accounting for specific asset, liability, and equity accounts, as well as analyzing financial statements from the perspective of preparers and users. 3 hours.
POLS4720E - Criminal Procedure
Prereqs: (POLS 1101)
The Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Eighth Amendments to the United States Constitution, with specific attention to the law governing criminal arrest, trial, and punishment. 3 hours.
PSYC4230E - Psychology of the Workplace
Prereqs: (PSYC 2990 or PSYC 3990)
Major topics in industrial-organizational psychology, with emphasis on organizational and personnel psychology applied to business, industry, and government. 3 hours.
ARTS2000E - Art Appreciation
Understanding painting, sculpture, architecture, and design to enhance aesthetic appreciation. 3 hours.
