UGA Griffin to Host Governor Deal for Food Technology Center Groundbreaking Ceremony
There will be a groundbreaking ceremony at the UGA Griffin campus for the UGA Griffin Food Technology center on October 17. The ceremony is open to the public and students and alumni of the Online Master of Food Technology program are encouraged to attend. Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, University System of Georgia Regent Tommy Hopkins, and UGA President Morehead will all be in attendance. The building will be home to many food technology labs that allow for quality control, hot and cold temperature work, refrigeration, frozen and dry storage, and a demonstration kitchen.
For those who are interested in the world of food sciences, apply for the UGA online Master of Food Technology! The program is completely online and is offered through the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. The application deadline for spring enrollment is coming up soon, so get your application in by November 15th.
