UGA Sorority hosts online philanthropy event
UGA Sorority hosts online philanthropy event
Every year, Sigma Delta Tau (SDT) at the University of Georgia hosts SDT Greek Grind, a dance competition between all Panhellenic sorority chapters at UGA to raise money for Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA). This year you can enjoy the competition online by purchasing your livestream ticket to support this incredible nonprofit.
SDT Greek Grind is the most anticipated and largest Greek philanthropic event on campus. This incredible night of entertainment gets bigger and better every year as all 18 other sororities compete for monetary donations toward PCAA and the title of SDT Greek Grind Champions. In the past three years alone, SDT’s Greek Grind has raised over $300,000 for PCAA.
Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA) is a national nonprofit organization that raises awareness and provides education for the prevention of abuse and neglect of the nation’s youth. Every year, Sigma Delta Tau chapters around the country show their passion and support for their national philanthropy. Sigma Delta Tau at UGA hosts SDT Greek Grind as their primary effort to raise funds and awareness for PCAA. For more information about PCAA, visit http://www.preventchildabuse.org/.
The live event hosted by Dance Moms star, Christi Lukasiak, is February 10th at 8 PM at the Classic Center but you can watch a livestreaming of the event while supporting a nonprofit from the comfort of your own home by purchasing a ticket through: https://live.greekgrind.com/.
Once you have made an account and purchased a ticket, a video or picture will show up. That is to show you what the livestream will look like on the night of the event. At 8 PM on the 10th, go back to the website where you purchased your livestream ticket and the livestream will be playing. The theme for SDT Greek Grind 2021 is Defy the Grind.
