Amy is an experienced educator with a strong commitment to making education accessible and equitable through technology. As part of the foundational team for UGA’s Online Learning initiatives, she has played a key role in developing and supporting online education for undergraduate courses and graduate programs. Her expertise includes course development, instructional design, and providing support to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

Driven by the belief that online education removes barriers to learning, Amy aligns with UGA’s “commitment to excellence in a teaching/learning environment dedicated to serving a diverse and well-prepared student body.”  Her professional approach focuses on leveraging technology to expand educational opportunities and foster inclusive learning communities. Amy holds a BSEd in English Education, an MEd in Learning Design and Technology, and an EdS in School Library Media from the University of Georgia.
