Instructional Design Manager - Quality and Analytics

Tianyi’s work focuses on analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data to support decision-making and curriculum development aimed at enhancing the quality of online programs. She earned her doctorate in Educational Psychology and Educational Technology from Michigan State University and has over ten years of teaching experience in higher education in the areas of Statistics, Research Designs, Educational Psychology, and Educational Technology. Her research interests include developing methods to define and measure open-ended knowledge exploration and exploring effective instructional strategies to promote deep learning in online learning environments. Before joining the Office of Online Learning, she served as the Coordinator of Data and Assessment at the Office for Student Success and Achievement.
