My teaching philosophy centers on creating learner-centered, evidence-based experiences that empower students to connect knowledge with real-world agricultural challenges. What excites me most about teaching is witnessing students connect concepts to real-world applications and grow into innovative problem-solvers. I believe meaningful learning occurs when students actively engage in critical thinking, reflection, and problem-solving while applying concepts in authentic contexts. I hope my students to develop the confidence and communication skills needed to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and lead positive change in their professions
Dr. Lee’s research focuses on innovation adoption in the context of agricultural science and extension, including integrative precision agriculture, climate-smart technologies, and innovative decision-making processes. Dr. Lee investigates the factors that influence adoption decisions and communicates the impacts of agricultural innovation adoption on communities, production, and other broader agricultural issues. She evaluates stakeholder adoption and impacts resulting from participation in training programs.
