I love getting to see the ah-ha! moments and the strategic implementation of the lessons learned to further their studies and make meaningful changes in their current or future career. Confident leaders in the agriculture industry is my goal!

Academic Professional Associate

I believe that education should be accessible to and applicable for those who choose to pursue it.

My focus is distance delivery for formal and non-formal education settings in agriculture. What interests me most about my work and research is the learner and how we, as educators, can meet their educational needs and create psychologically safe spaces where critical thinking and community building can occur.

I hope students gain knowledge, skills, and resources to be successful in their current or future career from my classes. But more than this, I hope they gain confidence in their ability to communicate and lead in their specific context.

I enjoy teaching in this discipline because the content is immediately applicable for learners. I love getting to see the ah-ha! moments and the strategic implementation of the lessons learned to further their studies and make meaningful changes in their current or future career. Confident leaders in the agriculture industry is my goal!

I am also a present educator! I believe in student engagement, even in the distance delivery format. Always feel free to ask questions and reach out for clarification. You are not on your educational journey alone!
