The University of Georgia’s online degree programs rose sharply in U.S. News & World Report’s 2020 Best Online Programs rankings that were released and feature the top-ranked online programs for business and education in the country.
Terry College’s online master’s degree in business and technology jumped to fourth in the non-MBA rankings category, up from 17th.
The College of Education’s online bachelor’s degree in special education was tied at 11th with four other schools in the overall online bachelor’s rankings category, up from 25th. It is the only online bachelor’s degree program at a public college or university ranked in the top 140 in Georgia.
The College of Education’s online master’s degree in education program remained ranked as the fifth best program in the country and is the top program in Georgia.
The college’s online programs were recognized in a number of new rankings, including:
#1 Best Online MA Ed program for Veterans
#6 in Best Online MA Ed/Instructional Media Design
#7 in Best Online MA Curriculum/Instruction
#10 in Best Online MA for Special Ed
#11 for Best Online MA in Administration
