UGA Ranked Among Nation’s Best Online Programs by US News

The University of Georgia has some of the best online programs in the nation, according to a new survey by U.S. News and World Report.

UGA has significantly increased its online degree offerings and courses over the past few years with a focus on quality. Trained instructional designers work closely with faculty to help provide students an exceptional online learning experience.

ranking graphicThe University of Georgia tied with the University at Albany-SUNY for sixth best graduate online education programs. UGA’s College of Education offers eleven online master’s or specialist degrees, plus eleven graduate certificates or teaching endorsements, making it the college with the highest number of online degree options available at the University of Georgia. Degree programs include master’s degrees in middle grades education, instructional design and technology, reading education, and educational psychology. 

Additionally, the university’s graduate non-MBA business online program rose to sixteenth place in national rankings. UGA’s Terry College of Business offers an online Master in Internet Technology degree that is designed to reinforce technical knowledge while also building project management and leadership skills. The degree offers graduates the ability to lead teams focused on building IT system-based business solutions.

Announced every January, the U.S. News rankings are based on factors such as faculty credentials, student services, student engagement, and admissions selectivity. UGA also offers online degree programs in a variety of other fields that are not currently ranked by U.S. News.
