Past experience includes 25 years as a co-founder and owner of Chapin Asset Management, an entrepreneurial boutique asset and wealth management firm, 20 years (1973 - 1993) in the corporate world with Super Regional (CBT, now Bank of America) and Money Center Banking (Bankers Trust Company- NYC, now Deutsche Bank) in Personal Trust, Investment, Private Banking, & Wealth Management.

Past academic appointment from 2011-2019 as an Assistant Professor of Personal Financial Planning for Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS teaching Estate Planning and Investments Core CFP® courses, Financial Ethics and Mediation in PFP, Applied Behavioral Finance, CFP® Capstone/Financial Development Plan Course, Advanced Estate Planning, Advanced Retirement Planning, and Research Methods I.
