Online Career Services Available

The Career Center has a suite of online services you can use!  In the student resource section of online.uga.edu, you can find links to Career Center virtual drop in hours, a way to make appointments for an online consulting session, resources to help with career development, resume and interview resources, and more. UGA’s Career Center has you covered.

Appointments and Drop-in Hours

Career Center appointments are offered virtually for more in-depth assistance through Zoom. Additionally, virtual drop-in hours are available to all UGA students. Drop-in hours are Fridays from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Zoom.

Career Development

The Career Center offers custom resources for Graduate Students and Alumni in order to support career growth.

They have also provided self-paced career development modules on eLC. These were created specifically for UGA students. These modules cover a wide variety of topics and are ideal for students who are busy and seek flexibility.

Professional Document Review

If you are unable to attend drop-in sessions or make an appointment, you can still have someone look over your professional documents. Submit any documents such as your resume or cover letter to be asynchronously reviewed.

Interview Preparation

The Career Center offers many opportunities for interview preparation. Check out UGA’s Big Interview platform for a guide to nailing interviews. Alternatively, schedule a mock interview by appointment in order to practice answering questions and your personal presentation.
