UGA Online Programs Accepting Spring Applicants
Many online degree programs at the University of Georgia accept applications for spring enrollment. The deadline for spring is approaching quickly, so be sure to finish your application if you are interested!

Online programs with spring application deadlines:
- Bachelor of Business Administration – November 15
- Offered through the Terry College of Business, the University of Georgia’s online Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree provides a broad background of practical business knowledge. Students major in General Business to prepare for careers as managers or entrepreneurs.
- Bachelor of Science in Special Education – November 15
- Offered through the College of Education, the University of Georgia’s online Bachelor of Science in Special Education offers a certification and degree completion pathway that is rigorous yet versatile. This two-year program is structured to endow teacher candidates with the necessary skills to assess, plan and monitor the progress of persons with disabilities in preschool through 12th grade.
- Master of Education in Learning, Design, and Technology, Instructional Design and Development – November 15
- This program includes an emphasis in Instructional Design & Development (IDD) that prepares education, military, healthcare, business, and industry professionals to become highly skilled instructional designers. UGA’s distinguished faculty will teach you both the art and the science of using emerging technologies and media to design and develop highly effective instruction.
- Master of Education in Middle Grades Education – November 15
- Offered online through the University of Georgia’s College of Education’s Department of Educational Theory and Practice, the Master of Education in Middle Grades Education is centered on the education of young adolescents in middle grades (4-8). This program is for teachers currently certified in middle grades, or for those with an interest in young adolescent education.
- Master of Education in Reading Education – November 15
- Offered through the College of Education, the University of Georgia’s online M.Ed. in Reading Education with an Emphasis in New and Digital Literacies is designed for certified teachers and literacy education professionals. This degree program is offered by the Language and Literacy Education Department, whose faculty is recognized nationally and internationally for their teaching and research. The goal of the program is to educate teachers in ways that advance their students as readers in the broadest sense from printed materials to digital multimedia environments.
- Master of Education in Workforce Education – November 15
- Earning your M.Ed. in Workforce Education is invaluable if you teach in a public school, a technical college or work in business and industry. This degree will provide you with the expertise to guide student learning in career and technical education for both academic and industry settings. The program addresses the current skills you need to manage careers within a global economy, cultivate work ethic and communication skills and develop capacity for innovation.
- Master of Food Technology – November 15
- Offered online through the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, the University of Georgia’s online Master of Food Technology (MFT) will teach you how to maximize in-line processing efficiencies, improve food product quality and safety and implement good manufacturing practices in line with current regulation, food safety and HAACP practices.
- Master of Science in Foods and Nutrition, Community Nutrition – November 15
- Offered through the College of Family and Consumer Sciences, the University of Georgia’s online M.S. in Foods and Nutrition, Community Nutrition is designed for working professionals and those who wish to broaden their knowledge in the field.
