My students won’t just sit in front of a computer listening to lectures. Through engaging activities, often using the talents and skills of classmates, my students learn to put business principles into play in real world situations.

I have been teaching diverse groups of MBA and BBA level students from various institutions all over the world for more than 30 years. I take students through the current trends in select industries to keep them up to date on what’s going on in the business world. Under the Senior Fulbright Scholar Program, I taught as a visiting professor of management at both the Pozan Academy of Economics in Poland and the Modern College of Business and Science in the Sultanate of Oman.

In addition to teaching, I serve as a consultant, providing guidance in the areas of international management, quality management, supply chain management, and operations strategy for clients world-wide. I've published several books, book chapters, and more than 80 refereed journal articles and conference presentations on the topics of strategy, international business, quality management, healthcare management and environmental management.

I love the flexibility of teaching online and the convenience that allows students to complete their assignments, no matter where they are. As an instructor, I believe that one of the most important things I can do to create an environment that fosters success in an online class is to provide a clear and detailed schedule for the students. I also enjoy facilitating small group collaboration where student teams work together to solve short cases or analyze current events.
